Elisa Squier, M.A., LMFT
Hi, I’m Elisa
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist | Perinatal Mental Health & Relationship Support
I help moms, dads, and couples find emotional support through the many ups and downs of parenting. Whether you're preparing for a baby, adjusting after birth, or navigating the daily demands of raising children, you don’t have to go through it alone. My goal is to create a safe, caring space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and start to feel more like yourself again.
For Moms: It’s Okay to Not Be Okay
Motherhood is life-changing—and not always in the ways people expect. Many moms feel anxious, sad, overwhelmed, or even like they’ve lost who they used to be. There’s so much pressure to be perfect, to keep it all together, and to be “grateful”—even when you’re struggling.
Whether you’re dealing with postpartum depression or anxiety, grief from a pregnancy loss, or just the emotional weight of being a mom, I’m here to help. You deserve a place where you can be honest about what you’re feeling, without fear of being judged. Together, we’ll work to help you feel more grounded, connected, and supported.
For Dads: You Deserve Support Too
So many dads feel like they have to be the strong one, quietly holding everything together while struggling inside. You might feel unsure of your role, overwhelmed by responsibility, or worried about how to support your partner and be a good parent. I
f you’re stressed, burned out, or just feeling off, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to keep it all inside. I offer a space where you can talk openly, feel seen, and figure out what support looks like for you. Your mental health matters just as much as anyone else’s in the family.
For Couples: Reconnecting Through Parenthood
Parenthood changes everything—including your relationship. You may feel like your partner doesn’t understand you anymore, or like the two of you are more like roommates than teammates.
Maybe you’re fighting more, talking less, or just feel emotionally distant. Whether you’re preparing for a baby, adjusting to life with a newborn, or trying to reconnect after months or years of parenting stress, I help couples build stronger communication, deeper connection, and more emotional closeness. I use tools from the Gottman Method and Prepare-Enrich to support couples in every stage of the parenting journey—from new beginnings to long-term growth.
A Bit About Me
I’m not just a therapist—I’m also a mom, a wife, and a proud dog parent. My daughter, my husband, and our pack of dogs bring joy, chaos, and meaning to my life every day. I know firsthand how intense parenting can be, and how easy it is to lose sight of yourself in the process. That’s why I do this work—with deep empathy, respect, and a commitment to helping you find your way back to connection, confidence, and calm.
