Hannah McDonald, LMFT-Associate
Hello! My name is Hannah McDonald, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate specializing in supporting moms during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
I know that the time around pregnancy and becoming a parent can be exciting, but it can also be stressful and overwhelming. My goal is to help moms feel supported, understood, and empowered as they navigate the changes and challenges of this special time in their lives.I work with moms who are dealing with feelings of anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship changes during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Whether you're worried about your own mental health, trying to balance family life, or adjusting to the changes that come with being a new parent, I’m here for you.Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by pregnancy, adjusting to life after having a baby, or dealing with the stress and emotions of parenting, I’m here to support you. I understand how tough it can be, and I want to help you feel more confident and calm as you navigate this new chapter of your life. Together, we’ll work on ways to help you feel more grounded while also taking care of yourself. Let’s connect and create a plan that supports both you and your growing family during this big transition. You don’t have to go through it alone—I’m here for you every step of the way.
Beyond the office, I focus on things that help me relax and recharge. I prioritize time for my fiancé and family, focus on self-care in different ways, and enjoy getting lost in a good psychological thriller! I also love traveling, trying new coffee shops in the area, and spending time with my close friends. I believe in keeping a good balance between personal life and family time. It’s important to stay connected with others, ask for help when you need it, and make sure to take time for yourself to stay happy and healthy.
Why I Do This Work:
I’m passionate about helping women through one of the most important times in their lives. Pregnancy and becoming a mom can bring so many changes, and I know it can feel overwhelming at times. I want to provide support, understanding, and tools to help moms take care of their mental health, feel more confident in their role as a mother, and adjust to the changes they’re experiencing. Every mom deserves to feel heard, supported, and empowered, and I’m here to guide them through that journey.
