Lauren Pasqua, PsyD

I’m a licensed psychologist and leader in my practice, but you might think of me as a parenting coach, self-care supporter, and resilience builder. I help women, men, and parents feel more confident, calm, and connected while finding balance in their busy lives.

For Moms: A Safe Space to Be Yourself

I love helping moms create lives that feel fulfilling. Parenting can be amazing, but it’s also exhausting, overwhelming, and sometimes lonely. Changes to your body, constant demands on your time, and the pressure to be perfect can leave you feeling anxious, sad, or burned out. If you’ve been struggling, you’re not alone—and I’m here to help.

In our sessions, I want to see the real you. This is a place where all your emotions are welcome—whether it’s guilt, anger, joy, pride, or anything else. My goal is to offer mothers a place where they can freely be themselves, without the need to perform or meet impossible expectations. We’ll work together to challenge negative thoughts you may have about yourself and help you feel more confident as a mom.

I’ll also help you set boundaries, make time for yourself, and find ways to recharge. That could mean creative activities like journaling or cooking, getting outside, moving your body, or spending time doing things you love. Taking care of yourself is not selfish—it makes you stronger and helps you show up for the people you love.

As a mom of three, I get it. I’ve felt the guilt, stress, and overwhelm, as well as the pride, love, and joy. Motherhood is the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and it’s also the most important. But it’s a job no one can do alone. Motherhood takes a village, and I’d be honored to be part of yours.

Support for Dads: Confident, Connected Fatherhood

Dads can experience postpartum struggles too—anxiety, depression, irritability, or a deep sense of overwhelm in those early months (or years) of parenting. You may feel pressure to stay strong, but inside you're exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of your role. The transition to fatherhood is big, and it’s okay if it hasn’t felt joyful every moment.

Whether you’re adjusting to new parenthood, dealing with behavior challenges, or trying to balance work and family life, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I help dads process their emotions, reduce stress, and find their footing during this life shift.

For Parents: Building Stronger Families

I work with parents at all stages, whether you’re expecting a baby, adjusting to life with a newborn, or raising older kids and teens. Parenting is rewarding, but it’s also hard.

Most parents I work with want to feel more confident and connected in their roles. They dream of raising happy, resilient kids and working as a team with their partner. But stress, self-doubt, or disagreements about parenting often hold them back.

In therapy, I help parents build better routines, improve communication, get in alignment on values and parenting, and reduce conflict. Together, we’ll strengthen your connection with your kids and partner, so you can feel more confident, calm, and in control.

Infant & Preschool Mental Health

If your baby cries constantly, needs to be held all the time, or never seems content, you’re not alone. Maybe sleep is a struggle, feeding feels like a battle, or your child gets overwhelmed easily. These early years can feel exhausting and confusing—especially if your child has experienced stress, separation, or trauma. I specialize in infant and early childhood mental health, with a focus on the parent-child bond. Using dyadic therapy, I support you and your child together to ease distress, strengthen attachment, and build a path toward calm, connection, and growth.

Outside the Office

Beyond the office, I am fully immersed in the "messy middle" of parenthood with my three children and their many activities. I prioritize time with my husband, practice self-care through regular exercise, and indulge my love of reading (especially fantasy and science fiction). I believe in modeling what I encourage in my clients: balance, connection, and prioritizing well-being in both personal and family life.

Why I Do This Work

I believe strong families and positive parent-child relationships can change the world. As a mom, I know how hard parenting can be, but I also know how much support and guidance can make a difference.

If you’re ready to feel more confident and connected as a parent, I hope you’ll take the first step today. Let’s work together to create the life and family you’ve been hoping for.
