Amber Pyles

Amber has been working as a Registered Nurse for the past seventeen years. After the birth ofher child, she observed the lack of support in healthcare during the postpartum period and decided to return to school to specialize in treating women with perinatal mood and anxiety challenges. Mood disorders are the most common complications of childbirth but often remain unaddressed. These findings are what led her to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide effective support and mental healthcare for the transition into motherhood. She currently volunteers with Postpartum Support International as a state coordinator and has specialized training in maternal mental health. Amber is available to be seen on a sliding scale, and is also helping lead our weekly on-line support group. She is available for in-person therapy at our Central office location and on-line by appointment.
