Aneika Pruitt, MA, LPC-S, LCDC

Aneika brings many skills and expertise to our team, including extensive experience with all ages and life challenges. She is a creative, innovative, and forward-thinking clinician who strives to encourage, enlighten, and empower all clients. After earning a BA degree in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Chemistry from Baylor University in Waco, TX, Aneika went on to earn a M.A. degree in Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.

Her resume includes extensive work with adults and young people categorized with mood and behavioral disorders with great success. Many of the clients serviced have a history of extensive trauma, abuse, and neglect.

Aneika’s theoretical approach for counseling is holistic in that it incorporates strength-based techniques from many clinical orientations. Her approach to treatment and recovery is often collaborative among therapist, client, and any other supportive resources available and necessary based on clients’ needs. A key focus in work emphasizes the growth of all five selves – social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive selves- of the individual.
