Announcement Regarding CPFH and Covid-19

Dear friends and clients of The Center for Postpartum Family Health,

As directed by the Center for Disease Control, our center will be making modifications during the coronavirus pandemic, to insure the health and safety of our clients, and our staff. All of our therapists will be available for teletherapy, a counseling option for seeing your therapist on-line

This is a safe, private and easy way for you to continue your work with your therapist, or schedule with one of our therapists for the first time.  If you are already working with someone, contact your therapist to discuss modifications to your regularly scheduled appointmentIf you are scheduling for the first time, contact our receptionist, Darbi, to make an appointment.

If teletherapy is not an option, and you would like to see your therapist in person, we will be practicing the following recommended guidelines:

Hand-washing, before and after your appointment
Social distancing, sitting at least 6 feet away from your therapist
Using wipes to sanitize any surfaces used by multiple people.
If you are sick, or are experiencing symptoms of any illness, please cancel your appointment with your therapist. We will waive the late cancellation fee for any and all illness-related cancellations.

We are here for you, and are ready to provide service to whomever needs it.

Finally, if you are finding yourself anxious and stressed about the uncertainty of these times (and who isn't!) we recommend the following self-care practices, to help you cope.

Get good sleep, nutrition and exercise
Practice mindfulness, deep breathing and meditation
Use the downtime for creative practices: art, journaling, crafting, cooking, reading
Stay connected with loved ones through phone calls, video chatting and social media
Give you and your children a routine that is relaxing, predictable and sustainable.

We will get through this together, and as always, CPFH is here for you.
